Another day of perfect conditions on Day 5 meant another incredible session with bigger and better tricks. After having spent the better part of the week the tearing up the freeride trail and hitting the main feature’s quarter pipe, trick booter, and hip, the riders were ready and roaring to hit the famous Big Bertha jump. As the resident hype-man of the event, Sam Reynolds (GBR) led the way and set the tone by going big on his first hit.
From there, Patrick “Paddy” Schwieka (GER) took over, nailing trick after trick. His most memorable was a really big flatspin 360. Meanwhile, Ethan Nell (GBR) was whipping up a storm, mastering the ever stylish whip with every hit.
Clemens Kaudela (GER), best known for his massive air off the quarter pipe, sent a silky smooth backflip off of the kicker, pleasing the crowds that had already come to watch. If Day 5 is any indication of what’s to come, the contest day is going to be huge!
